P-1000 Mk II Deluxe Preamplifier

Designed for High-End audio systems, the P-1000 MkII is an innovative Class A preamplifier developed with a new proprietary six-stage ultra-balanced design with relays and ALPS optical encoder volume control. The P-1000 MkII features a design with three independent linear power supplies and 8 stereo inputs: 4 fully balanced XLR and 4 RCA. It also offers numerous advanced functions: Mono/Stereo selection, left/right channel swap, absolute phase swap, Booster technology and excellent left/right balance.  

The Deluxe version of the P-1000 MkII is equipped with noise-canceling coils and capacitors on the six output stages, derived from military technologies, secured in place with custom copper clips.

To perfectly reproduce even the oldest recordings, the preamplifier can be set in both Mono and Stereo mode. It also allows for playback of inverted recordings. Absolute phase shift (0°/180°) can be useful when integrating the preamplifier into your system.

The Booster technology of the P-1000 MkII allows you to get the best out of speakers that require additional power, increasing the emission of energy in a very specific range of low frequencies.
The function is completely bypassed in OFF mode.  Easy to use thanks to the color display that clearly and intuitively shows all the functions and allows precise and fast adjustments both through the use of the knob on the front panel and the remote control.

To further improve its performance, the P-1000 MkII can be paired with the external super inductive PSU-1250/1000 power supply and the TUBE-1012/1006 valve stage.

The P-1000 MkII can be equipped with dedicated external units to further improve performance: the Tube 1012 and Tube-1006 – Class A valve stages – and the PSU-1250 and PSU-1000 – external power supplies.

• Class A Six‑Gain‑Stage Ultra‑Balanced Design: Employs relays and an ALPS optical‑encoder volume control for ultra‑low distortion (<0.001% THD @ 1 kHz), broad 2 Hz–200 kHz frequency response, and precise volume control over 100 steps.
• Military‑Grade Anti‑Noise Output Stages: The Deluxe version adds custom clamped coils and capacitors to each of the six outputs, suppressing noise for crystalline sound.

The ideal companion for the 1000 series

PSU-1250 and PSU-1000 are the super inductive external power supplies dedicated to the 1000 Gold Note series, such as CD-1000 MkII, P-1000 MkII and PH-1000. Both PSU-1250 and PSU-1000 are the result of a sophisticated design with an inductive filter on the analog stage and power supply via a double inductor for the positive and negative stage. PSU-1250 has a configuration of 7 transformers, of which 4 are dedicated exclusively to the power stage, with a transformer for the galvanic isolation of the audio stage and 3 to the Dual Choke inductive filter.

PSU-1000 is instead powered by a 5 transformer configuration, 4 for power and galvanic isolation and one for the Dual Choke inductive filter. These external power supplies perfectly filter the electrical signal eliminating possible interference and disturbances so as to allow the electronics to express the sonic characteristics at their best. PSU-1250 and PSU-1000 provide ultra-clean power and all the necessary power without generating Electro Magnetic Interference or Radio-Frequency Interference that could affect the audio signal. All this translates into greater dynamics, better resolution, precise details and maximum realism.
